That’s why we created Michigan’s Help at Home Program, giving you the freedom to choose a caregiver you trust — even a family member or close friend — and ensuring they get paid for the care they provide.
With over 10 years of experience, we proudly serve all counties in Michigan, helping families receive caring, reliable in‑home support without stress, confusion, or out‑of‑pocket costs.
Eligibility to recive care
Who Is Eligible for the Help at Home Program?
You may qualify if you:
- Have Medicaid
- Live in Michigan
- Need help with everyday activities
- Can direct your own care, or have someone who can do this for you
- Are 18 years or older
Note: Medicare alone does not qualify, but we can help you understand your Medicaid options.

Who Can Be a Caregiver?
The caregiver doesn’t need to be a professional. You can choose someone who already knows and cares for you.
A caregiver must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Not be excluded from the Medicaid program
